Convair 440 / C-131 Samaritan Transport

Designed and built by Geiyer “Andy” Anderson, the Convair 440 / C-131 Samaritan Transport is an excellent flying sport scale twin designed around a pair of O.S. .32 2-stroke glow engines. The Samaritan uses traditional balsa and lite-plywood construction and is designed to use off-the-shelf retracts and shock absorbing struts from Robart Mfg. The wing is equipped with flaps and uses a pilot friendly semi-symmetrical airfoil.
